Custom Homes

EZ-Build Systems provides custom fit home packages using various state of the art pre-engineered building components. Customers may choose from wood products or non-wood products or a combination of both. Besides providing all of the materials necessary for framing the outside envelope, all of our custom packages also include full architecturals and engineering. There are no limitations to what we can do. In fact, because of the immense structural integrity of both our SIP packages and our tubular steel packages, there are more design options (clear span ability) to using our systems versus conventional framing.

Generally what happens is that a customer will call us with an idea of what they are looking for based on a set of plans they found on the Internet, or they will already have full sets of plans purchased and ready to submit for a price quote. Either way, we can provide

an average square footage cost for incomplete plans and a detailed quote for complete plans.

EZ-Build Systems can take any set of drawings submitted (even drawings done for stick framing) and supply our shell package materials for it. We can also make custom changes to drawings provided that the customer owns the original set of plans, or we can custom design construction drawings in house from scratch.

How to start the process of ordering your new EZ-Build Systems home:

The first step in building with EZ-Build Systems is to choose a house design and either purchase the plans on your own, or work with one of EZ-Build Systems’ design professionals to provide you with custom architecturals.

The following steps should clarify and simplify the building process for you:

Steps for Homeowner:

  • STEP 1: Decide on the home design you wish to build. Submit this design to EZ-Build Systems for a price quote.
  • STEP 2: Find a general contractor either recommended by us or who’s willing to work with SIPs. We provide a free assembly DVD and technical phone support to first time SIP contractors.
  • STEP 3: Finalize your plans with EZ-Build Systems and your GC. Upon receipt of the 25% deposit, we will pre-engineer your home and commence shop drawings for each component (floor system, wall system and roof system). We will provide you with P.E. stamped structural drawings for your permit. It generally takes 6-8 weeks to have the product delivered on site after final approval of the construction drawings.
  • STEP 4: Once your permit is granted, the shop drawings are reviewed, checked and signed off on for production. Three to four days prior to shipping the product to the job site, the balance is paid to EZ-Build Systems and then a day or so after that, the entire package arrives. The panels will all be numbered (to match the numbered assembly drawings), simple to understand and delivered to your building site where they can be fully erected within just a matter of days!
  • STEP 5: EZ-Build Systems provides consultation to the GC to address any questions encountered on site during the construction process. The GC can generally finish the shell of your home in half the time that it would take him to finish the shell of a conventionally built home.
